But now that I've got ya.. with them eating 1st bites, how long will it be till crushed flake?... How long till they start to assume an "angel"shape.. How long should I wait till I start naming them? What size need they be before rejoining a community tank?.. Questions, questions, questions.. PITA aren't I? Bill in Va.

I feed mine first bites for 2 to 3 weeks then start crumpling up flake food for them. By 3 to 4 weeks they should start looking like angels. They need to be at least dime size to go with others but I would wait till quarter size with the size of your angels.(4 to 6 months)

Well.. I'm down to 6 survivors.. They just got moved to my guppy fry tank.. (10G). 1/2 marbles it looks like, 1/2 gold something).. Adopted yet another angel that's as big if not bigger than Spike... They had issues the first few hours and in fact the newbie had a very sore set of lips.... Peace now reigns in the tank.. Watching as I type, Spike preparing their preferred site for spawn III. Bill in Va.
