    Post by alan j t Wed Apr 06, 2011 11:19 pm

    hi all,
my albino bushynoce plecos finally got in the mood to breed. so i got them there own honey moon sweet. i was lucky enough to have water soft enough to breed em without RO water.
they have there own 40 breeder with drift wood and pleco caves. which by the way the caves were never used by them. they loved the wood though.
pics coming soon. i have some recent and some pics from before

Oh very cool! Zucchini and yellow squash is good for adults as well as fry!

A word of advice, Get a super duper light on that tank to get the algae growing well! A splash of fertilizers and excel will help too. The fry will grow so much faster with a steady source of algae

I never have, I chop up a pack of whatever and freeze it for later use. I thaw it in tank water, stick it with a stainless steel fork and drop it in.

They had a watermelon rind covered within 15 minutes, they completely ignored the cabbage, its pretty easy to tell what they like and what they don't.

Just don't do it when they are hungry or you may get a 'false positive'
