125 DIY build

Well I thought that it was about time for me to post up on here what I have going on. I have been trying to get my forum going so I havent had a whole lot of time to get active on here yet. But thanks to Fern she has helped us get to the right place now. So Here is what I have going on in my fishy world. This is my 125 build that I got for a dream.

these are the current USA 48" T5 54wX8 Nova extreme pro lights that I added.

this is the new doors I added.

and this is kinda what It will look like with the rock work and some of the plants and drift wood.

Looks pretty good to me, are those risers attached to under gravel filter plates?

No they are pylons that go through the bottom of the tank. The tank is drilled so that I can run sump filtration. the two outside ones are overflows and the two inside ones are return jets.

the grating in the tank is for the rock to set on so that it isnt sitting directly on the glass. It is grating from an over head florusent lighting system.

Ok guys so Im going to put a list up of mods and additions i have made/done to the 125 setup.

Rebuilt and repainted canopy.
Cleaned out and painted the tank.
drilled with overflow and return pylons.
replumbed the drain and return system.
rebuilt sump to run freshwater.
added 1200-1500gph return pump.
added plant lighting under stand for the refugium section of the sump.
repainted stand.
recovered doors.
added hinges to door instead of hanger.
Added 48" 54w x 8 T5 HO lighting system.
and I think thats all. i will update as i think of more.
