Yes, it's that time of the year again. A time to spend all our hard earned money on gifts for people who never called, never visited or never even cared; but hey, you know what they say: "It's the 'gift' that counts."

Re: That Time of the Year...
Two weeks ago, as always, my daughters gave me my Christmas gift. Yup, the same thing they give me every year: A list of what 'they' want for Christmas.
They ask me: "Dad, what do 'you' want for Christmas?"
To which I answer: "Nothing, I can't afforded."

Re: That Time of the Year...
Welll..... on the flip side?... My parents (86/82) came down from NY and stopped in for a week ahead of their grand daughters wedding in Sept (My parents 65th anniversary date!)... well.. they were kinda shocked at the 600 gallons of tanks set up when they came into my man-cave.. So on their return home, pops mentioned to my mom how peaceful it was watching the tanks.. SO... Christmas morning, (after a 10 hr drive) I set up a small hex tank, plants and driftwood in their kitchen!.. Monday morn it was off to 3 different fish stores for stocking!.. For me it was a pretty rewarding Christmas... oh.. plus I bumped into a German Ram breeder that sold me a 1/2 dozen for 30.00.... Bill in Va.
