We lost power for 16 hrs.. Luckily heating the tanks was not an issue... AND, in my latest deal, one of the boxes had a half dozen battery air pumps.... lighting of course was the problem. So Spike and Grizzly decided they should protect the eggs by eating them.. Boo Hoo... So Fern/Vix/other Angel breeders..It was almost 3 weeks between spawns the last time, now with no eggs will the lapse be a tad shorter?..
Two trees came down in the yard, luckily just brushing the roofline and narrowly missing the bedroom windows.. A day's worth of repair.. Not enough damage for insurance to kick in..
The neighborhood of course is littered with branches and leaves. Take care and from now on keep your hurricanes where they belong! DOWN SOUTH!... Very Happy Smile

16 hours without power isn't bad at all. Beats a week. Glad there was no major damage done.

Don't me get wrong.. I wasn't complaining about the 16 hrs... Just stating the facts...giving an update to one of your members that recently relocated from here. Bill in Va.

Good thing you had those pumps! Every fish keeper should either have a bunch of them or a generator!
Charlie had us down for 3 weeks...

I had some stuff hit the house but no major damage. Power was out a little over 18 hours. I lost a few fish because the pump I had in the tank crapped out while I was gone helping people cleanup trees. Took about 14 hours yesterday of yard work to clean up 2 yards. Fun stuff.
