Fern and Vixen to the rescue Empty Fern and Vixen to the rescue

The Cat fish I just got from my hubbys co worker I was planning to give to Fern and Vixen when they said it could eat my fish... Well they came over today to collect the bugger and after 30 min of trying to encourage the crazy fish to come out didn't work we ended up figuring the poor thing was dead. It wasn't moving when poked or anything. Oh it was lodged in like the smallest hole in my Kribs log/root thing. So I collect a hammer and chisel and Fern starts chiseling away to get it out cause we didn't want to leave a dead fish in the thing and break part of the root/log thing apart and get to the spot where the cat is and chip a hole in it and Ferns like..."It's ALIVE!" lol

The poor little guy would have died if he hadn't been gotten out. Once Fern and Vixen finally got a hole big enough to get the cat out his eyes were all cloudy and he just wasn't doing good at all. By the time they got ready to leave he was swimming all around and looking for food. Guess he wasn't able to get out last night to go eat cause his barbs kept him lodge in the log/root thingy.

    What a day....lol

He (a rapheal catfish)is doing great with Jack the Ripper (a jack dempsey also from Zeke) took up home in a huge terra cotta pot. Fern's son named him Mr. tentacles.
