Warning on corys and big fish; corys can lock their spines into place when thretened, so if a big fish tries to eat them the big fish 'sometimes' things twice about it, other times the big fish ends up with a cory stuck in its mouth or throat and usually both fish end up dying because of it.
The other cats sound like synodontis to me, some of those can get pretty large.

Giant danios are fairly good with oscars, they are fast and get big enough so they usually dont end up as a meal. They are used a lot as dither fish for the more aggressive fish.

Plants I see; apontogean, crypts, and looks like a val in the corner. hope that helps you id what you have Very Happy
