This is a topic that comes up regularly "What would push the S/O, spouse or partner over the edge?" So far one of the major ones seems to be an indoor pond, though personally I think its a wonderful idea if my house were only bigger LOL

Been told it was the fish & horses or him, well for those of you that know me I have more horses, more fish, more birds, hamster and lots more bunnys so that wasn't his best threat.

Another that seems to be an issue is spending more time at the lfs than cooking, well darn it there's a microwave and always pot pies in the freezer.

So this is truly for fun "What's your other half's fine line?"

If I brought a pond home, talking about putting it up in the house, I would be strung up and beat, LOL as long as it is on a stand and looks good, I'm OK, but a Pond would be a huge NO,NO, LMAO

So heres something I found funny this morning.

I woke up and my gf was not in the bed. So I walked to the living room and she was sleeping on the couch. I didn't think much of it until she woke up and told me the reason she slept on the couch. She wanted to hear the water running in the fish tank. So now she asking me to buy a tank for the bedroom. So I don't even have to make up a story of why I need to put one in there now.

SN: I don't think my gf would be a happy camper if I set a pond up in the house. Not that her opinion would stop me lol.

The sound of running water is heard pretty much throughout my house, pretty nice on quiet days!
I agree with his reason for no tank in the bedroom. I tend to keep the house at fish temp 72-80 or so, this eliminates a whole lot of heaters!
Well on cool nights it is nice to open the bedroom windows, couldn't do that with a tank in the room without running a heater in it.

I feel heaters are a necessary evil that if you can go without them it is best. Fried or frozen fish are not a fun thing!
