    He is only a meany when its culling time, then he gets to hunt down all the defective fry I throw in there Twisted Evil
    Usually he takes pellets from my hand ever so gently!

    He has went through a number of color changes, can you tell us what causes this?

    All I have found is that when they lose their black like that they are called a fader, Freaked me out when it happened! I hadn't a clue what was going on!!!!!

    Wow!What a beauty!any eggs hatch yet?
    The fading spots come from the original fish,although some Flowerhorns retain their spots,(like a Trimac)some fade away like a red devil or parrotfish. sunny Hope to see him im person soon!

    Ya she is still pretty young, I need to reconfigure the filters so the water flows more from him to her so that he can fertilize them easier.
