One of my male Odessa barbs looks like he is full of eggs. Is there a disease that makes them look like that? It's really weird looking

what are you feeding? Could be bloat, (are you sure it's a male)she could be holding blocked eggs, Internal parasites, constipation, ...... the list goes on. What are the parameters of your tank at the moment? Who's scales anyone else looking bloated.

Quite sure it's a male. Feeding spirulina 20 and on occasion bloodworms and peas. Haven't checked parameters in a while. I haven't added anything or anyone new in several months. No clue who's scales it was. No one else looks bloated, but I haven't seen my pleco in a day or 2, which I just realized.

Lay off the bloodworms (use only 1x a month and clean well) sometimes they carry parasites. Peas are good. If you can get to our house we can give you a small bag of homemade frozen food which has medication (Levimasole HCL) in it.
