I've researched and researched BBA due to one of my tanks being overwhelmed with the S#it. Subject: BBA & SAE's Today at 10:41 pm
I can, without a doubt, declare that Siamese Algae Eaters will do a job on Black Bearded Algae. About 2 weeks ago, I picked up 6 of em... prob about 2.5 - 3 inches long from my only trusted LFS (Skoolzoffish). 3 for me, and 3 for two other members. In the two weeks, they've devoured about 1/2 of what I had growing in my tank. Unfortunately, 3 of them are being re-homed to their purchaser's tomorrow. Bill

Siamese Algae Eaters get big and get an attitude, that's a downside. But glad to know they will eat the stuff!

Hey Fern what is that stuff growing on the rocks in the cichlid tank at boardroom, the tank between the front door and the register? I bought a couple of those rocks because I thought they looked cool then the cool started to spread everything, even my fake decor, now it's not so cool.
