Dads not really picky on color, any ones with a neat pattern are always high up on the list though
Does he want a mated pair?
BNs come in black and albino, they also have the calico that have reddish patches on them, I never had any luck breeding those. The calicos also stay smaller than the black or albino. Some people call the black ones 'brown', but they are one and the same, though some are lighter than others. But they do have nice patterns to them, very pretty, especially the blacks.
I have an odd pair that I put together not expecting them to mate, and they did. The male is black long fin, the female is albino short fin, and they throw all four, long & short fin albinos and long and short fin blacks. A very interesting pair. I love them.
Let me know if he wants a mated pair. I have a black short fin pair right now that the male is something to behold, his bristles are very pronounced, big and they branch out at the tips, I think he'll love that pair. But get with him and let me know.

I wish I'd known a week ago. I just sold, and shipping out tomorrow the last 20. Now I have to wait for the little ones to grow. However, if he wants them sooner rather than later, I have a friend in Kentucky that also breeds them and he can give him a good price. All I have to tell him is that they are for a friend of mine. Let me know about that too, we can get him some either ways.
