I bet someone has a 4' light kicking around somewhere they can sell you Wink

I've got metal halide pendants if ya wanna go crazy with light. I know how it is to be on a budget, let me know if you want to go that route.

    Gggrrrraaahahahhhh

I am coming back from the dead, lol

So I figured I would update this thread.... after all this time.....

I have it all set up right now

55gal salt setup, Pennplax sump filter, water mover, protein skimmer, 1 shy yellow tang, 2 yellow tailed blue damsels and 2 zebra damsels. I did have a domino damsel but unfortunatly he died Sad

Plans are to get more live rock and get a few more fish, change the lighting and get these babies happy and alive

    Welcome back zombie! lol

    Looks like a great start!
I have some Halameda macro algae if you would like some to start with, I am using it for an in tank 'fuge' Its too tough for tangs to chew on and a bush in the corner gives your pods a place to breed and it helps with water quality, just let me know I have plenty!

You will want to get glass tops on your tank so you can put any light on there that you need.
Make sure you use RO or distilled water to mix your salt with or you will have algae issues, I may have said that earlier...

I do have 2 glass tops, but i kinda want to change to a full 4' one so i can have consistent light output. The algae is actually getting back under control, i just had a bad time after christmas with water quality
