    Brilliant idea or flop idea?

Post by zeketaz on Sun Jul 01, 2012 7:24 pm

So.... I have my 20 long tank divided for my shrimp. Am thinking of moving them to a 5 gallon and using the 20 for salt. Could I keep it divided and do half a idk tank and half a QT and then the 20 on the bottom divide and sump up as well as 2 diff sumps?

10g or even 20g is too small for a salt tank, IMO. Too much can go wrong too quickly. I feel that 40g is the minimum for salt till you really really know what you are doing.
