My main tank had 3m/18f wild caught Zaire Blue Frontosa; 3m/10f Mpimbwe Blue Frontosa; 2m/8f Tropheus Duboisi Maswa; 2m/10f Tropheus Moorii; 12 breeding pairs of angelfish; 20 pairs of Julidochromis all types; many pairs of convicts and rainbow cichlids (they were feeder fish). The angels were my bread and butter. They spawned every two weeks. So I had 600 angels to get rid of every two weeks. My buddy got his angels to spawn every nine days. He had 70 pairs of breeding angelfish. Tons of babies to sell too!

There are a few of us that need help with our angels.
Seems so far the furthest anyone can get is 1-2 days free swimming. In my case they don't get past wiggler stage. Parents start picking them off and holding them in their mouth but can't get them to stick to the new spots they select.
I'm setting up a rearing jar to see if I can get better results. Already have the brine shrimp eggs and I'm just waiting to see some free swimmers on the next batch. I figure the newly hatched brine should be a good food for the angel fry.

I would love a set up like that.
