My names Taylor and have lived in Lee county my whole life. have always been into fish and reptiles. now that I'm working full time in a petstore I'm really getting into my fish tanks again. currently I have a 8 gallon hex in my room with 2 fancy goldfish a koi and a shebunkin, a 30 gallon mixed gouramis and a few livebearers and some wicked cool bottom feeders and just set up a new 44 gallon cichlid tank(curtesy of my buddy Stu) it shall be my pride and joy I've got about 13 mixed africans and one blood parrot so far. yes I do plan on mixing lakes and countries(don't make that face. it makes for a prettier tank!) and will seperate as needed. loking forward to comments and advice and new fishie friends!

The koi is still pretty small. I'm in the process of digging a pond in the yard... I've got a few small turtles also.... My store is privately owned ,I'm not so big on corprate petstores. We have a pretty good assortment of freshwater... no saltwater sadly. we've got all the basics and some cool random exotics. and we can get just about anything on special order.

Welcome to the group.
One thing you should know about our forum is "we don't criticise" people for mixing fish. Your groupe of mixed africans is right up our alley and honestly most people would do it just like you have.
