If you need live brine this is the best way to go. I highly recommend these shell free brine shrimp eggs.

    OK, I don't understand.

What is the difference between the two?
I have done brine shrimp before in a soda bottle just needed salt water and an air stone.

These dont have shells to separate out. They are shelled and will hatch, so if some dont hatch the fish can still eat the eggs and there is no waste!

The egg shells are not digestible so they must be separated from the hatched brine. Shell free eggs can be eaten even if unhatched.

Well, I did not know that, I always just siphoned out what I needed and most times 2 days later anything in the bottle was dead and I just poured out the whole mess. I always wondered why someone ever came up with trying to decapsulate brine shrimp eggs, now I know.
