by Airborne Wed Oct 05, 2011 6:30 pmI bought another 90 gal predrilled tank and took the guys word that it was maintained and what not well get it home transfer all the water and the sump pump stops working so I had to go and buy a mag 9.5 pump for my return then went and the sand has over 15 yrs of dirt in the sand bed so now I'm doing a 100% water change changing the Sandbed to aragonite then putting the 100's of corals thus guy had in here back wow talk about biting off more then I can chew

That super sucks! Sounds kind of like what I did to my 75, only difference is I didn't just buy it lol and my filter works.

Ya I would have bought all new sand for mine except I knew that the engineer goby that came with it kept it well stirred.
Always ask to see the pump run, those mag drives are not cheap at all!
