    Eggs?

Post by zeketaz on Fri Jun 03, 2011 4:05 pm

Sorry the pic is terrible. One of my baby kribs ate the eggs before I could get a better pic. Anyways what would lay small clear eggs on the glass? I saw itty bitty white specks in them to.

I have 2 snails in the tank that are totally different from each other. The snails have been in there for 2 months give or take and this is the first time I've ever seen eggs like that in there.

I got kuhli loaches, odessa barbs, cherry barbs, black phantom tetras, red phantom tetras, the pleco, kribs, and the 2 odd snails.

it was little clear things with spots, but they weren't very lumped together

How long were they there for?
If it was only one dot per egg it wasn't the snails.

not sure how long they had been there I just happened to see them yesterday for the first time then they got eaten Sad They were like the size of needle head crystal clear spots with only one little spot per egg. They must have been mighty tasty cause my krib fry gobbled them up when they saw what I was looking at lol. I can almost bet that if I hadn't tried to take a pic of them they would still be there my fish aren't very bright

What kind of snails? Do You have nerite snails? They will lay one egg but only hatch in brackish water.
