[justify]Hello everyone from Sunny Springhill Florida (west coast)!!
I have been out of this Great Hobby for 25 years but am back for GOOD!
Now that I am back I really understand how much I missed it. I have tried many other hobbies since and spent a lot of money trying to fine the right thing, when all I had to do was go to my 1st love. I had fish way back in the 60's also when the 1st Dynaflow came out and Surpreme filters where the rage of the day, and Marble Angels had just came out!! I am lost with some of today's equipment and hope I can get some help from this site when needed.
So far as I can see this site seems to fit my needs. I thank you for having a place like this for us Old Timers. Very Happy

JC... I prob got my start back around 62 or so.. then left it rejoined it when I hit my 20's.. in the early 70's. Back then I got deep enough to invest SIX times in wild caught brown discus... As a G.I. it took almost 1/2 months of pay to jump in.. and I was dumb enough to try it 6 times. Left the hobby back say in 80 or so.. and bought my first tank the beginning of Feb of this year.. Now hosting (3) 29's, a 30, a 10G, a 75G and my big boy 125G. Now have 9 discus @ 3", (pigeon blood and BlueDiamond/Snakeskin mix) and a couple of dozen various angels.. It sure is a different world 30 years later! and the fish are A LOT more expensive. Welcome to a really friendly group.

I was paying (back in the early 70's) $15.00 each for nickel sized brown wild-caughts from wattley. The only thing avail at the time!.. Life span of weeks maybe!.. Bill
