    Found this interesting information on how long it takes for dwarf shrimp to become adults and be able to reproduce:

    Dwarf Shrimp are fast maturing animals. On average, they take less than two months from the time they are hatched until they time they are able to breed.

    Below is a list of popular Dwarf Shrimp and how long it takes them to become sexually mature and how long the egg gestation period is.

    Blue Pearl Shrimp, Snowball Shrimp, Neocaridina cf. zhangjiajiensis
    Birth to Berry: 40-45 Days
    Gestation: 18-22 Days

    Red Cherry Shrimp, Yellow Shrimp, Neocaridina heteropoda
    Birth to Berry: 40-45 Days
    Gestation: 18-22 Days

    Tiger Shrimp, Blue Tiger Shrimp
    Birth to Berry: 42-50 Days
    Gestation: 20-25 Days

    Crystal Red Shrimp, Bee Shrimp, Golden Bee Shrimp
    Birth to Berry: 42-50 Days
    Gestation: 20-25 Days

    Oh wow I didn't know they matured that fast! I know the cherry's breed like mad but I didn't know they bred that young!

    Made this one a sticky great info. Fern most Dwarf Shrimp live 1.5 to 2.5 years but there are some such as the Hawaiian Red Shrimp that can live up to 20 years.
