Re: JAX AND JAZ SPAWN!
a night light is all that pair needs, let them do their thing, they are the best pair I ever had! Some time withing the first week of the fry going free swimming move them into one of those 10g tanks with one of those sponge filters I had you run in your main tank Feed the fry crushed flake once they use up their egg sack

Re: JAX AND JAZ SPAWN!
Are we talking freshwater Angelfish?
If so, do a little water change daily for a little while. Maybe 10%, 15% or 20%. Always make the water a little warmer than they are in. You will only have problems if the replacement water is colder. That's what I used to do. Though times and methods have changed a lot over the years.
That was back when air was clean and sex was dirty. Yeah, I'm old :-)

Re: JAX AND JAZ SPAWN!
That is one of the best pair of angels I've ever raised, super easy low maintenance pair!!! Just follow the advice everyone's posted and you'll have oodles of fry/youngsters growing up in no time

Thanks to you all!!! We are hoping we get it right. Karen is very fond of this pair and i would hate to see a grim outcome.

Re: JAX AND JAZ SPAWN!
It will take yall a few times to get it right on your end, so expect a few mess ups on rearing the fry, I know it took me a while to get it right!

Re: JAX AND JAZ SPAWN!
My angels took until the 4th try to get wigglers. Had 3 more spawns since and to date no survivors, but they were in a community tank. I just moved them to a huge tank with just some cories an two loaches. Can't wait to see what happens.
So my advice is pretty much the same, just have patience, and don't get discouraged if the spawn doesn't survive.

Re: JAX AND JAZ SPAWN!
OK, they need their own tank to be successful. So you did right to move them. They are about to become good parents. Congratulations.
Only one advise. The Loaches might give the Angels a fight for the eggs. Keep an eye on them, you might have to remove them.
